I've recently been searching for a convertible. Found cars that check most of my boxes and in all cases once seeing them in person found a few flaws. Nothing major but enough to tell the dealer I'll buy but want a discount. Now numbering 6 offer attempts at 15 in person views in ALL cases absolutely no discount and in ALL cases let me walk out the door and only one called back to see what my experience was. So from personal experience the dealers stick to the $ proudly. Watching them I see most still for sale with maybe a slight downward adjustment in the hundreds of $ range. They have my number and no calls. So today one arrives where I am to pay full asking but will see when I inspect it. If this is not the one, the wife says its a message.

scr1244, have you seen the listing or car description? It has $20k worth of after market upgrades.

I see some dealers holding on to their prices and not discounted them and some other smarter dealership reduces their prices to move their units which is the smart thing to do. Make a bit less and move on. When the prices starts dropping they will eventually drop their prices as most dealers mark these cars up between 10-20% depending on how much reconditioning on the car. With interest rates going up some more this year, I can't see the P prices not dropping some more. People's mortgage payments are increasing significantly, and the house market, stock market, and bitcoin is down quite a bit too. So will be interesting to see what the P market will be in 2-3months.

Only a couple of reasons why a car doesn’t sell…. Bad car or price too high.

What’s everyone’s feeling on the red gauges? Resale? Are these something that is sought after?

It looks like a great car with a great spec, Carrera S with MT is highly desirable. Porsche CPO gives you peace of mind but you pay for it. If you like the car buy it and don’t look back. Drive it a lot, enjoy it. FWIW I like the red gauges.

Horrible red gauges

Dealer 15k over market value

They are letting greed run rampant and will be the last to crack. Find owned privately and warranty. A dealer either sells at a 10 to 15k profit or dumps at auction then blames the auction. They will eventually adjust but will always be 6 months behind the market
