Ok so I hit a deer and did some minor damage to the front bumper and drivers side front fender. Quite bummed. So I have been thinking maybe I can make this a positive out of this situation. So this is my question. Has anyone ever changed their 991.1 front bumper to a GT3 style bumper? Wondering what is involved ? if I can use the 991.1S running lights & head lights? Also wondering if the mounts are different for the GT3 style bumper versus the 991.1 style bumper. Any input is appreciated.

Several here have done it. Very expensive, if you use all OEM parts.

From what I've been researching yes you can without issue. Everything lines up if it's the same year/series car. I've been thinking of doing the same thing just haven't pulled the trigger yet. In fact there was someone selling a GT3 style front in the classifieds a few weeks ago. I would take full advantage of your opportunity.

Just curious, but is the process and fitment the same for the 991 turbo bumper? I personally think that is a better looking front end than the gt3.

Does't the turbo bumper have the active aero spoiler? not sure how that would work on a non turbo car.

a less expensive option may be a GTS/sport design bumper as it is more fitting look for a non-GT car,
