Default Issues on AirCondition again

About 12 month ago I had my AirCondition System refilled by a reputable BOSCH service center. It blew cold air ever after.
Now it is not working again anymore. Only warm wind comes out of the blowers.
My question: What is the most common source of a leak?
Does not seem to be a common problem. The service man refilled with UV contrast stuff, so the leak might be able to be found easily.
I am just curious what it can be, before my service appointment at my local indie.
Thank you!

Any connection point on any of the pressure piping anywhere on the vehicle (common on all vehicles)
The fill valves themselves (common on all vehicles)
A punctured condenser (common on the 991s)
A toasted module, relay, or a/c clutch (fairly uncommon)

Best of luck. Sounds like they set themselves up for success in finding your leak with the UV dye at least.

Pro tip, if it takes less than 45 minutes to fill your a/c system, they aren't doing it correctly.

They should have sniffed the system with an electronic leak detector.

[QUOTE=asellus;18152455]The fill valves themselves (common on all vehicles)/QUOTE]

This was the problem with mine. It took three visits to the dealer. They put in dye, ran it for an extended time and even kept it overnight. They couldn't find any leaks!!
Finally one of the techs realized that the only dye they could find was at the fill valve. They had initially thought it was only "spillage" after filling up the system so much. After cleaning up the valve and refilling, guess what? Yup, they found the leak.
The valve is really just a Schreader valve similar to those on your tires/wheels. But unlike those valves where the core can be replace in about a minute, Porsche requires that a whole unit needs to be replaced and had to be ordered. That was about two years ago. So far, so good (fingers crossed).

I had mine topped off since it was quite low and then it needed it again about a year later. It ended up being an O ring at the compressor behind the bumper.

So my indi did not diagnose any leaks except that he mentioned the two condenser which can have very little leaks which are almost impossible to diagnose.
Bummer. I asked how much it would cost to change those two. He gave me a rough estimate of 1.500€/$, which seems quite high to me.
He quoted one condenser with 380,-€ times two and then labor. 740€ labor to take the front bumper off, take out the refrigerant, exchange the condensers, refill the system. This sounds like a pretty straight forward job to me.

What made me very sceptical now is the fact that the condenser in OEM quality (Manufacturer MAHLE)
Klimakondensator, L=R
Artikelnummer:99157311106
Vorherige Artikelnummern:99157311102
https://www.ws-autoteile.com/de/klim...106_A09013W258
is available online for 115,95€

I do have a very good friend, which has an car garage/car repair shop with all the tools and machines to take out the refrigerant. But he is not a Porsche Pro.

My question: Is there anything special with replacing those two condensers? Does somebody have a repair manual or YouTubeLink or such on how its been done?!
This would be extremely helpful in getting a permanent fix to my A/C issues and might help others as well in similar situations.

Thanks a million and have a great week-end!
