Default P0456 Code - Very Small EVAP leak - FIXED

I had this code come up with a CEL recently. Apparently this is very common with higher mileage 991’s, usually just being the gas cap or the little purge valve connected to the charcoal canister (located right next to the battery above the frunk, on the gas cap / passenger side). It seemed like this purge valve was the culprit almost every time over the gas cap here on the discussions. I ordered both parts from Porsche just to be safe. My car has only 17k miles so it was odd in general.

Gas cap seals still looked new. Replaced it and tossed the old on. The purge valve took literally 30seconds to pop off. I opened it up to check and it was still like new, then I realized the issue was that the damn thing came a little loose and some air was leaking at the connection. I popped the original one back on tight, cleared the code, and code never came back after it cycled. Since it was so easy I decided to just throw the new one on.

Needless to say I have a 100% working, like-new one now sitting in a drawer. I’m paying it forward, if anyone needs one or know anyone that may, it’s yours. Fits a bunch of different models, $180+ part. I’m in NJ. Pics are of actual part, and then a googled pic for location.
