Helper to Tender - What effect - DSC ?
I have decided to increase my spring rate, so I thought it is a good opportunity to swap out the Helper springs as well and change them to Tender springs.
Currently run
100 plus 10 helper front
150 plus 10 helper rear.
Going to
120 plus 40 tender front
170 plus 40 tender rear
Tender rate will be calculated when we actually measure how much the spring compresses when the car sits in them.
Will tenders effect DSC?
Thoughts?

No one ever discusses this.
A helper spring is basically a spacer. It compresses fully with the weight of the car on it.
A tender spring is not 100% compressed with the cars weight on it.
This is supposed to help with traction. However I wonder if it would be quieter than a helper spring? Helper springs on coilovers tend to make a little noise when they unload.
I wonder how much interest this would generate if I titled it, Silent Coilovers. Or How to get a free painted key ring. 🤣
