It's accurate, bad spelling. It's consistent with miner and not minor damage as it looks like it was destroyed in mine collapse.

I get the concern but at the end of the day my personal opinion is that CARFAX is a bottom feeder. They pay for your non public data or trade it on a massive scale. They also have managed to convinced consumers that their records are somehow accurate or comprehensive.

They are just as guilty as the body shops, insurance companies, and mechanics that willingly sell your data to them.

Non CPO used, you're taking a risk. You can limit the risk by employing an expert to inspect, but, there is still a risk.

It's been a long time since I read Carfax's guarantee. The last that I recall, they only promise if someone gave them information (good or bad) they promise to pass that on. Folks can check me on that but it gives them a pretty big out. If the car's been in an accident or multiple accidents and Carfax never got the info they are off the hook.

I'm not going to single anyone out, but this is extremely common practice in Ontario and Quebec. I would never buy an ex-US car here in Canada. They're almost always either totalled, flood-damaged or former rental cars. The number of US market former Nissan rental and lease return cars running around here without DRL's is mind-boggling, haha. To quote the orange Cheeto, they're not sending us their best.

My mom recently retired after having been in the insurance industry her whole career. The stories she has, it's just insane.
