It does not change Brake Bias. The Girodisc Rotors are 350mm all around as well and come with a quick kit to move the caliper.
If anything, I would state that the factory brakes in the rear are too small for track duty and this is a true plug and play upgrade.

You ferodo guys try carbotech? It's much easier on rotors.

For those frequently tracking, a track pad and girodisc rotors will always be superior to "mixed use" pads and single piece rotors.
Possibly got unlucky, or I just was trying to use a mixed pad as a track pad and it failed... Most likely the scenario.

If they were DS2500’s, that pad really doesn’t do well being pushed beyond its comfort zone. People have been complaining about that since at least 2003ish when I was selling parts for Evo and Subaru's. Same for the Hawk HP+.

The Endless MX line, while still a “compromised” pad, has a higher temp range (+200-250c), and also doesn’t seem to fall apart when pushed beyond its limit.

Ordered my 350/350 rotors and fedoros from FCP this week and will be installing within the next month or so. The hardest driving this car will see is in the mountains, so I'm looking forward to trying this out...hoping it's the sweet spot for what I need.

Make sure to order the longer caliper bolts and the metal spacers from the link in this thread too!

Due to parts availability, I went with the SHW Performance OE rotors for my T. FCP Euro didn’t have full sets available for Zimmerman or Sebro. I am looking into options for fitting 380mm GT3 rotors and calipers. The AP Racing 380mm brake kits are $10k and rotor ring replacements run $2k a front/rear set, whereas a set of GT3 rotors from FCP Euro is $2400 and has lifetime replacement warranty. I have a lot of questions on fitting the GT3 rotors and calipers, maybe I can find someone locally who has some spare parts I can mock up for fitment and make some measurements or laser scan. Anyways, this was a bit off topic I guess, as the original post was asking for choice between Sebro or Zimmerman, and now I think we’re just looking for good brake options in general, sorry for the derailment.

I think this thread has turned into a bit of an alternative oem option for non-direct 991.2 choices, which isn't a bad thing. Best of luck in your search.

Serbro slotted are cheap. On my former 2005 GT3, I ran GIRO slotted on the front and Serb slotted on the rear.

You will want to use the Turbo calipers. GT3 calipers bolt spacing is wrong for the upright. You can bolt the Turbo parts on using OEM parts only.

350/350 slotted sebros, ds2500 pads and motul 660 service completed today. All traffic on the drive home but the bite and pedal feel was very nice compared to the shot oem brakes.

Did anyone do a simple bedding procedure on this setup? Is it required? Any recommended intervals? I.E. 70 to 20 mph stops repeated ramping up pressure

Hey JPU1
I upgraded my fronts to the red 991 6 pot and 350dia sebro. fit perfect.. The rear I purchased 997 gt3 caliper they also fit perfect. BUT the rear sebro would not fit flush with the hub plate. The rotor sits 5mm off the hub. I was going to make a spacer for behind the rotor. I am curious what part number you have for your rear 350mm slotted sebro? thanks

it sounds like you need the hardware kit someone created for this swap? Comes with extended rear bolts and a spacer. Let me see if I can find the link on here. Could only find the Facebook post.

It sounds like you may have gotten the wrong 350mm for the rear. It doesn't sound like you have an issue with the caliper clearance, but the actual rotor with the hub? You will definitely need to get the 997.2 turbo rear caliper bolts (longer) and metal spacers, but the 350mm I used was this:
