I also push mine to the side. It’s much easier for me to do this after installing casters on the units.

Do it all the time...I just wrap and tape garbage bag around the ends. If you get some water on it, just blow it off with a leaf blower or air line when done......

found this, there are others to help with moving QJ's around.

According to Quick Jack you can. Ordering mine Monday and plan to wash and detail regularly. Disconnect the hoses, get the power unit out of the way and regular greasing of the hinge points and you are gold.

what size casters did you buy so as to not interfere with getting the QJ under the car

You have to be careful because the caster size makes a difference between the 5000 and the 7000. I know there are utubes on size for clearance....

1-1/2” and 1-3/4”, I used different types because I wanted at least one side to have locking casters (though in hindsight, it probably wasn’t necessary).

you can move it up or down the rails to whichever height is suitable for you, I wanted it to be as close to the ground as possible.

I did the caster mod also, cheap and effective. I hung them either side of my garage doors in unused space. 5000, work for my 911, wife's GTI and our Macan
