My brother is also looking for one and couldn’t believe what they are going for right now. Originally he thought I should have bought a 991.2 but he slowly has come round to the dark side.
I couldn’t even imagine what I would price mine at when I do think about selling it after all of the time, mods and hard work I put into it. The other problem is what do you replace it with??
You might also add c2s into your search as there may be unicorn spec'd c2s for sale for a lot le$$ than a gts with better equipment. Recently helped a friend scored a 30k mile cpo 2015 c2s with all the gts options(x51 & sport design & ducktail & pccb & all other goodies with two tone leather & deviated stitching.etc. msrp ~160s) that out spec'd 95% of gts out there. And he only paid 97k

I keep my eye out for just about everything but I’ve had a 991S before, just looking for something different though I’m not opposed to it. Looking for private party only so the selection is pretty limited in the first place. Buying from dealer will cost me an extra $8-10k in taxes and I tend to cycle through cars pretty quickly so trying to avoid that hit.

C2s isn’t wide rear though. It does make a difference.
I have a close friend in the market and tgis sounds perfect.

Porsche Exclusive/"unicorn" builds with very high MSRP relative to most other cars would be ideal, but I know not easy to find
What's considered a relatively high MSRP? My manual C4S w/ the powerkit had an original sticker of $167k. Curious if that's considered at the upper end of things or pretty average.
I was very close to letting my 991.1 GTS go. I went as far as getting offers from Porsche dealerships. I offered my car to a few Rennlisters but they wanted to pay less than the offers I received from the dealerships. I decided to keep mine until I'm ready to move on or someone offers me a ridiculous price for it.
btw I think anyone with a nice spec great condition .1gts would want more than dealer for their car like livesteam, which is very justifiable so you may as well just buy from dealer & net paying less. If you really dont want to pay tax, montana llc

C4S is widebody. OP needs to ask if they’re buying a car or a badge, because there are X51 C4S’s that are more lavishly spec’d than a GTS. In my case, I did not want the Alcantara interior that’s common on the GTS. Reality is, most buyers checking the X51 option are also checking off nearly everything else as well, including full leather interior.

I like the black exterior trim and black CL wheels on the GTS. Hard to find that on a C2S or C4S. I also like the contrast stitching and finding an S/4S with that is very difficult. GTS also hold their value the best compared to the other trims.
