Value of my 2016 911s
I have a 911S allocation and plan to sell my 2016 911s.
Comparisons seem hard to come by. I'd appreciate input on what a reasonable retail value is.
26,000 miles. Manual. Racing Yellow. Yellow dials. No sunroof. Heated seats and steering wheel. Bose. auto dimming mirrors.park assist.4 way seats. Carrera S wheels in Platinum Satin. Full front X-pell.
Always well maintained and garaged. No CarFax incidents.
Thanks.

$100K is too low, as someone who spend dozens of hours over the last 12 months looking for a Manual car, finding the right color, combination manual car ( like yours) is next to impossible, the ones that do become available they are sold within days.
I agree with the post above, ask at least $108-$110 and dont take anything less than $105K.
A word of caution, if you have had a car (or any object/property) for a while and you find yourself in the midst of a "seller's market", dont leave thousands on the table because "hey I still made a lot more than what I paid" because there is a reason prices are High, no matter what you use the proceeds for, it costs a lot more than it did 2 yrs ago and you are losing money by not taking full value out of your sale. Even if you pocket the money and dump it in savings/IRA/Market, due to inflation that money is worth less than 2 years ago.
I say take clear and detailed pictures, post it for sale at $108K, stick to your price and the right buyer WILL pay you what you are asking because a Racing Yellow, slitktop, Manual , 4 way sport plus seats, Last of the N/A Carrera S cars is worth that much at least. (and getting more expensive as this year goes by, and supply issues continue and the world around us has even more problems)
Just some unsolicited advice from a novice. Good luck

Sounds like a great car. Not sure but since you pointed out S wheels, I’m assuming it’s a base. You actually loose points on the no sunroof (about a thousand clams.) Market is beginning to slow but you should get good dollar. I’m thinking between 95 and 100. If you have time to wait, you will be on the high side.

I will also add that you may be surprised by what the dealer is Abe to give you as a trade-in. They could trade it in at near 6 figures and you can save a LOT on Taxes (depending on your state) as in many states you are only taxed on remaining difference between Trade-in and whatever a 992 S costs you
good luck

Incorrect
I searched the country and paid more for a non sunroof drivers car. There are many threads here with people who have stated exactly the same. I would not own a Porsche with a hole in the roof.

You are correct on the sales tax issue, but I have been advised by a Porsche SA NOT to even attempt a trade in because they will offer so little in comparison to what I can get on the open market.

I have a 2018 C4S manual with full leather, glass sunroof, 18-ways, Bose etc. 20k miles. Perfect condition. MSRP 131k. The local Porsche dealer (from whom I bought the car new ) as well as a BMW dealer offered 100k for a trade in. Private or brokered sale is the way to go to get top dollar.
