Default What good is warranty?

When appointments are 1-3 month waits and they don't fix what you brought your car in for?

Nothing.

Care to explain what issue you were having?

Rear engine deck lid popping open for no reason "fixed". This is tripping a couple of other issues, I can almost never check oil fill levels. My reading is always "unavailable".

Tech messes up my TPMS settings through PIWIS. It's asking for random mismatched pressures on all four corners. Especially on comfort settings.

Blown speakers and rattles galore "fixed" (they actually got worse).

My windows squeak when they move up and down as the door opens/closes. There's also a tremendous amount of wind noise at speeds of 100mph+ coming from the back edge of the drivers side window. This was also "fixed".

"We're so busy" is what I hear from the SA all the time.. Understandably, but this comes at the cost of a rushed service.

These minor issues that keep appearing make the car feel like a bucket.

Whatever warranty you have remaining whether its factory or CPO, cut it by 50%-75%.

Oh trust me I 100% agree!!!

When you purchase the warranty, the salesman will tell you it’s bumper to bumper coverage.

When you actually need to use it, you will hear about all the exclusions.

I learned about it the hard way. My headlights and door panels weren’t covered.

I would suggest you both go to a different dealer. I have used the CPO a few times with no issues at a few different dealers. I have my door panel replaced no questions asked, many others on here too.

if anyone every says "bumper too bumper warranty", you know they are lying. there is no such thing as a bumper too bumper warranty. there never has been. even on a brand new car, everything between the bumpers are not covered.

This is my next step. 3 month wait because I requested a loaner. Without loaner is about a month and a half.

My last few visits I got these cars as a loaner:

Honda Pilot
Honda Pilot
Honda HRV

This never used to be the case. I'm bringing in a 233k car, one of the highest MSRP 991.2 Turbo S out there that's not an Exclusive Series. I can get a better loaner at basically any other brand dealership. It's insulting when I at least used to get a Macan or Cayenne back in 2017/2018. Market shmarket. Take care of your customers. My car has more money in leather options than that entire HRV is worth brand new at MSRP.

That is crazy I’ve used a few dealers for service but I have 4 P car dealerships close to me. They all use Macans as their loaner cars. How far is your next closest dealer?

I feel your frustration. I'm in a similar situation trying to get issues fixed on my 2017 991.2 with CPO warranty. 6 months wait before I could bring my car in. 5 weeks at the dealership and issue is not resolved.

I wouldn't be surprised if, due to the supply shortages, many dealers have sold off many of their loaners. I'm sure the service department hates it too, it's probably out of their hands.

That is a well optioned vehicle. I had a good experience at Porsche North Scottsdale. Got a Macan. Fixed beautifully. Maybe make a trip out here?

of course there will be those that disagree.
