I put the Conti Extreme on as my Winter set and can't say enough about them. They are sticky and more quiet than the PS4S that they replaced for the season. That said, they'll be relegated to the garage for anything but Winter driving.

The continentals are an amazing tire with a 200 rated treadwear. They are designed by Hoosier so you know they going to perform well. I have them on 17 inch wheels on my 87 911 and they have literally transformed the cars handling

The ExtremeContact Force tire is offered in 18 sizes ranging from 15 inch to 19 inch options. trackdaytire.com sells them (They are owned by Continental as is Hoosier). If you fill out a driving CV on their web site, another 8% off, free shipping and no CA sales tax. However, the rire size offerings for some will be problematic: Too small, 235 and 295. or too big, 265 and 315.

Seems like they’ve launched the PS5 (linked article and others), which replaces the PS4, but the PS5S hasn’t been announced yet. From what I’ve read the new PS5 is still below the PS4S performance, so we will have to wait a bit longer for the PS5S or keep running PS4S. Hopefully still this year they’ll release the PS5S though, fingers crossed!

Thumbs up

I've been a massive Michelin fan for years and it was one of my first mods to switch the Pirelli's that came with my GTS to Michelin PS4S' and the difference is amazing.

Wouldn't put anything else, except may Cup2's for track duty

Sport Cup 2 are grippier than PS4S in warm dry conditions, and have stiffer sidewalls. They aren't better they are just different.

I like the Sport Cup 2 as I only use my car for spirited drives, but they come off the car when the temps drop below 50 degrees. If I only had one set of wheels, or did a lot of miles I would run the PS4S.
