Default ICarsoft CR Max - True Milage travellwd

You want to have full capability for numerous brands and I'd want a bi-directional diagnostic scanner.

I have 5 diagnostic scanners from a basic INNOVA 3030, Launch 129E, Durametric Professional, Hex-Code GS-911 (for BMW motorcycles) and a MotoScan App that is used with my OBDLink MX+ (for BMW motorcycles). The most expensive of the bunch, the Durametric and the GS-911 do quite a bit but they always fall short on even the simplest of tasks. Their response, "sometime in the future". When, in 100 years when my car has rusted away.

You really need to contact the company and get full details of what the diagnostic scanner can and cannot do.

There is one review on YouTube where a 2008 997 owner has an Autel MaxiCOM MK808 and it would do an ABS bleed on a 991 but not a 997. Go figure and that unit is expensive in comparison.
can the CR max show the true milage a 997 has travelled?

I don't know. I'd have to drive over to someone I know with one and try it.

In the mean time, I contacted an iCarsoft distributor and they have informed me that the CR Max cannot check “true milage” on a 997 however it does provide the data on a 991 and later.

Btw…thanks for offering to find out. 👍🏼

Has anyone successfully bled their brakes using the Bleed Function with V3.0? We tried to use my buddies V2.0 to bleed my '13 991 but no luck. According to these functionality files the V3 should work?

At the moment my two top diagnostic tools for my cars are the iCarsoft CR MAX and the Durametric Pro. The best I ever had was the VCDS. I should talk to them about producing something for Porsche.
I am looking at the Durametric also for my 991.1, but can't find a reason to go for the Pro. The only difference is 'coding', but I don't see any coding support for a .1 anyhow. Is there a particular feature you have your eye on, other than the number of cars supported?

Assuming you mean ABS bleed? If so yes. Previous versions don’t work even though v2 advertises that it does.

Exactly the reason.

I have a 2022 macan s , tried to update the oil change reminder. didn't work with the icarsoft. it said incompatible. i emailed them and they said they would look into updating it. waste of time and money... i think the snap on computer works but i don't want to spend 5k on their unit!

I have a iCarsoft Auto Diagnostic Scanner POR V2.0 for Porsche that I bought last year to reset oil light/battery replacement.

Anyone want to buy it? I have a PIWIS now, so no need for icarsoft.
