Default Remove Windshield Defroster Vent Pieces

Hi, Newbie from Florida here...

Question: Is it possible to remove the plastic defroster pieces right behind the windshield without taking the whole dash apart? Thinking about upgrading to CZW full leather dash option in my Carrera S...

Sorry if this was asked & answered before, but I could not find anything with a forum search.

Thanks!

Yes, pulls right up, but because of the angle I broke one clip on the vent. Your experience may very. Leather replacements pushed right back in. Center sport Chrono grill comes right out, you can then start lifting the defroster vent from that end so you aren't prying against the leather dash ever.

Hi - replying to an older thread.

I’m about to do the same thing, replace the defrost vent covers with leather ones. Do you have any suggestions or hints on how to do it and keep the tabs in tack?

Many thanks!
