991.2 C2S (NB) - OEM Spacers?
I've seen in the past on the car configurators that you could option your 991.2 with spacers from the factory. Does anyone know what thickness the OEM spacers would have been for the 991.2 C2S? Also, would there need to be reprogramming done by dealer to accommodate the wider positioning of the wheels? Also, are different lug nuts required?

Parts catalogue lists 17 and 5 mm spacers in the option codes.

From what I can tell, the 17mm was for the rear, and 5mm for the front. I vaguely remember hearing about OEM spacers being on the small side, like 3 or 5 mm.
As far as reprogramming, your guess is as good as mine there. Having perused through some of the coding options on the 991.2, I don't remember seeing anything about track width or wheel offset, only wheel circumference.
Ancedotally, my .2 4S with RAS ran NB .1 wheels in the winter and didn't seem to have much of an issue with it. I've since acquired spacers for those wheels to retain factory-like track widths, partially out of fear for RAS stability, partially out of disliking the sucked in wheels on the wide fenders. I suspect it does make some measurable difference as far as stability is concerned, particularly with DSC and RAS involved, but it's likely well beyond my ability as a driver to realize.
To the question about wheel lugs needed... 5mm probably not, 17mm definitely. Searching the parts catalogue for the feature code, I do see fasteners listed for the 17mm spacers, but I don't see anything actually listing "this part is for cars with the 5mm spacers" so that sort of confirms it.

Porsche original equipment spacers are 5mm all around. The kit includes longer bolts including four additional locking bolts. I've had a dealer alignment with spacers with no issues - no special programming required. My car is a 991.2 GTS (WB), and the front could really use a 7mm spacer.

I had 7mm on my 991.2 Targa GTS and they really improved the stance, and not too much, which tend to throw more crap at the sides.

I concur on factory option spacers being 5mm. It has been that way for over two decades. I bought my spacers from ECS and did 5mm front and 3mm rear on my 991.2S. Honestly, 3mm was just about perfect for the rear. I would go much more than 5mm on a NB 991.2. The fronts would be perfect at 7mm IMHO.

I've been running the factory 5mm spacer/longer bolt/longer lock set all around for 3.5 years now with no issues on a lowered 2018 Carrera with 20-inch Carrera S wheels and MPS4S. No rubbing whatsoever. Could see 3mm spacers for the rear, but the 5s work fine and look good. 17mm would be a no-go.

I've got 8mm front and 15mm rear spacer kit and bolts from ECS on my 991.1S which came off from my 987.2S.

Just remember kids...the offsets for the 991.1 and 991.2 are different. Especially the rear offsets.
I'm probably going to buy 7mm spacers for my front and move my 5mm spacers to the rear. Then I might try to sell the 3mm spacers that I had on the rear. We'll see.

Good move. 7mm spacers in front should be spot on.

Your RAS should not be affected by 5/7 or 8mm spacers. It is a good idea to get an alignment after you put the spacers on. As you push the wheels out, away from center line, the camber should be checked and adjusted as necessary.
