Canadian MSRP on Carrera T
Does anyone know what the MSRP was approximately on this Carrera T?
Porsche Oakville (https://finder.porsche.com/ca/en-CA/details/porsche-911-carrera-t-preowned-1MP2LM)
I think it’s a beautiful spec with the buckets and 7MT. Trying to get a sense of how inflated these prices are.

There is little to NO correlation between current asking prices and their original MSRP. I see some cars going for at or more than the original MSRP.
Although a dealer would be hard pressed to sell a T for more than the MSRP, with current low inventory and crazy market, anything is possible.
Add manual and Buckets and you get the point. Get the car if you love it, yolo

A VIN search on Vinalytics shows this. I imagine that's USD? So that would work out to $158,575 CAD at today's exchange rate. Very nice Carrera T, by the way!

Same beautiful car, different dealership. Old thread from the dead!
ALL Porsche sports cars are being listed well above their MSRPs in Canada. Pricing has changed a LOT post Covid. I don't believe Canadian Porsche dealers can sell NEW cars over MSRP, at least that's the case here in BC. Used.......different story.

I've always promised myself a NEW 911 built to my exact liking and with Euro delivery. I'm on that path right now. The thought of handing over ANOTHER $10-20K of my hard earned (and heavily taxed!) cash ON TOP of the other taxes (which can at least be offset by trade-in value) has me VERY seriously reconsidering.
Let's see...$35-60K (CDN) to get into a 992 T OR keep my 991.2 T, which I truly believe to be a VERY special car, and "invest" that money into something else. Like maybe a lightly used 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 in a year or two. Hmmmmmm.....

The only new car that might sway me is the Lotus Emira, but I'm so far down the deposit list that I doubt I'll ever get a chance to actually secure an order.

When you're paying well into the six figures in tax every year, you really start asking yourself why you'd want to part with any more of your money for these toys. lol. I'm at the point where I'll probably keep my 991.1 forever, at least based on how things are now.
