Default Coco Mats Nylon 6.6 are not your grand daddy’s cocomats

I realize this style is not for everyone but I’m really digging these new Coco Mats. These are the Nylon 6.6 version. The material is made in Germany but the mats are hand made to order in the USA. I like that this material is more durable, wear resistant, and fade resistant than conventional natural fiber cocomats. I also like the cleaner look. These mats are indeed heavy (ship weight over 14 lbs) and upon taking my car for a spin I realize that it helps deaden the sound of leaves & debris that fly up under my vehicle as I drive down the street without compromising the enjoyment of the sound from the engine. I made this brief video overview of them and comparing them to my factory mats. I hope you enjoy it.

thanks for sharing, will look into them for sure

Their weight is 1/3 the weight saving one gets from buying the Super Elite, super collectible and the most purist form of 911 ( the T) .. so thats something to consider for some. I drive an OLD and Slow version so it won't make much difference

Looks killer and looks like they would compliment a houndstooth set of inserts really well!

I’ve had these exact same mats from Coco Mats in South Carolina for a few years in my Cayman R and M2. They are indeed heavy, and extremely well-made. If you like you can get the stitching in a different color, and I believe the edging can be specified in different colors as well. I’ve been a Coco Mats customer for years, for various cars. The only issue I ran into a few years ago was fading with one of the original Coco mat styles. The company replaced both mats at no charge. Very pleased customer.
