Clutch life
Finally going to take the plunge and buy my first Porsche. I'm flipping a coin between two at the moment. Both C2's with manual transmissions. One's a 2014 with 90k miles, the other's a 2013 with 60k miles.
The '14 wins every category except the mileage. How concerned should I be able the mileage on a manual transmission car? I know many variables affect this, but is there a typical life span one should expect out of a clutch? My spidy sense is tingling that I'll end up changing the clutch early into my ownership of this car. That's not a deal breaker, but just would like to be prepared for what I might be getting myself in for.

Figure 60-150k. It'll be due soon. The overrev report should give you an idea of how the car has been driven, which will be a good hint for when this particular wear item will need to be addressed.
As with any other car, the clutch can last between 60 feet and 600k miles. Other than extreme cases, it's nearly 100% driver determined.

I test drove the 2014 today and it seemed really good condition for the mileage.
I put money down and scheduled a PPI.
I've changed clutches on cars before, changing a 911 clutch actually looks like it would be easier than your average FWD car.

The life of a clutch is so driver dependent that mileage cannot be used to determine when it will need to be replaced. My first manual transmission car, the clutch didn’t last very long. 😅 My second manual car had twice the mileage as my first and felt great still when I sold the car.
