I don't think there's any difference between 3.0 and 3.0t in the context of the 991. All the 3 litre engines are turbocharged in this generation.

In that case, the base, S, and GTS turbos are all different.

Someone else can confirm but I believe there are some differences in the transmission to handle the additional torque of the big T turbos.

If I'm not mistaken, the stock carrera T PDK transmission handles some 700hp with headroom per.. I think APR's e85 testing where they posted some crazy quarter mile time like 9sec.

7MT might be a different story, if only because of the clutch.

Yep - I've seen that but I also recall some tech specs posted that I cannot find that demonstrated some difference between the big and little T. Anyway, it could be dementia setting in too...
