I'm one of the lucky ones. I got my 13 C2S with 8500 miles for $70K, March 2020. MSRP $129K. It has 14K miles now. I'ts crazy to think that I could sell it for 80K or more.

Well I ended up going a different direction, even though I swore up and down I wanted the NA engine. I was offered a deal I couldn't refuse on both the car and my trade in and picked up this 2018 racing yellow base Carrera with PASM, sports exhaust, RS Spyder design wheels (they look amazing on yellow), heated/cooled memory seats, Bose (doesn't sound that great), and that's it. No sport chrono and not an S. But the deal was incredible, the car is immaculate and yes a 1 owner local car, and after taking it on some backroads I can safely say every single highly modified BMW and Mustang I've ever had pales in comparison. And I definitely don't miss the power of my Redeye because this thing launches great on the street. It sounds pretty decent too, but I'll be getting some kind of exhaust, maybe Sharkwerks. I will say that I paid less than the gray C4S I posted and got more for my trade than any other dealer including Carmax and Vroom offered (in fact, more than I paid for it brand new)
Here's a couple low quality pictures. You can see my old Redeye in the background. Don't miss it ONE BIT. Yes I removed the front plate already. Will try to clean up the holes and maybe get some bumper plugs.

Congrats! Great car. Look at the Soul Exhaust, at least the tube headers with the Cats and a Softronics tune https://www.softronicsoftware.com/99...are-2013-2016/

Congrats and not trying to revive the great controversy between the NA and turbo cars. Test drove dot ones in base and S versions for about two years. When the dot two came out, one test drive got me to pull the trigger. You will love the car.

Thanks guys. Extremely happy with the car.
Few questions:
How common are PDK failures or other major engine failures in these cars? The reason I ask is because I want to get a tune, but not if there's a reasonable chance of PDK failure in which case I would obviously have to pay out of pocket since a tune would void the factory warranty
How easy is it to install cat bypass pipes by yourself in your garage, without a lift?
Can I run a couple gallons of E85 mixed with an otherwise full tank of 91 safely, and will I see any benefits? I'm in California so the quality of our 91 can be questionable sometimes

Congrats fellow 991.2 owner
Your thread is funny as it was so similar to my own journey last year. I wanted a Cayman, NA, manual. Talked with 5 dealers, came home with a 991.2 PDK!
