Default Dash?

What does it mean when your Porsche says this? It has 17K miles. Not due for an oil change.

The 991.2 has service intervals rated in time and miles. You do the service when whichever one happens first.

I'm guessing you're coming up on a 2 year or something.

I'd ask the dealer what service is coming up, then. 3 years/30k miles is the 991.2 spark plug interval, so it may be that.

That would be your 2-year or 20k-mile service interval. You need to replace the cabin filters, air intake filter and brake fluid flush. If they didn't do the spark plugs in January you would need to add it to the list.

I'm pretty sure that reminder is specific for the 110pt (or whatever the actual number is) inspection that usually takes place when the dealer conducts service. Looks like the last time they did your service, they didn't reset the date on that reminder (it's a separate submenu/date entry). If it was for actual service, it would say "service" not "inspection." The computer might be set up for the inspection every 2-years/20k miles but it's typically done with every oil change (so they can find other things "wrong" with your car and recommend those services).

At that mileage, it means buy a tool to connect to your ODB2 port and reset the service indicator, do not pass go, save $600.
