2,500 daily driving miles in 1 year...

Taking that literally, it sounds like quite a few short duration trips. A lot of cold starts.

That kind of driving is not good for engine oil. Fuel dilution is probably a concern - and assuming you're running M1 0W-40, you don't want the oil to thin out even more. Viscosity loss via dilution (shearing) is likely to be occurring with your oil based on your description of how you're driving your car.

And then there's acidic build up - which is also a problem...

Definitely change the oil.

I change mine once per year (Motul 5w30) but only put on maybe 3000 total miles.

Once a year, it's easy enough to do.

IM aware of cold start fuel dumps, luckily its in South West Florida so after the initial start up for the day there is very little cold start reaction. I'll probably end up getting the changed done in the next couple months, just have to make arrangements for the drop off. I have a indy that will let me bring the oil and filter but I dont remember where I got the filter last year.

my car asks for an oil change every year, regardless of kms driven. I believe it's either or. If you drive a lot change the oil, or if it's been a year change the oil.

Local Porsche dealer ($30/each) or Amazon......be sure to get the rubber ring as well although you could easily used the old one if you wanted.....

Note to self - if you want to start a multi-page thread beating a dead horse, just talk about oil changes.
