Default Porsche Performance Exhaust Sound S+ vs. S setting

I find that the sound of my Porsche Performance exhaust is louder with exhaust valves open in the S setting (more burble when your foot is off the gas,) than in the S+ setting which has little of this deceleration effect. Anyone else experience this? 2017 991.2 Carrera S.

S is for show and S+ is for go (all business). Totally normal.

What you described is exactly how it works on these cars with sport exhaust. I use sport mode 90% of the time but will shut the exhaust as I get tired of the pops after a while

As mentioned, totally normal.

Sport w/valves open nets pops and bangs. Sport+ does not.
