Looking at trying the muffler delete on my 991 and wondering how loud it will be? Currently running the SOUL valved cat back and love the sound but wondering how much louder it would be with no mufflers? Also - can't imagine it would cause any engine lights would they?

More than likely it will drone pretty badly without a muffler.
Anything I've ever ridden in without a muffler droned horribly. Not worth it if that is the case.

I believe Vektor and/or Soul have mentioned that removal of the side mufflers just increases drone to terrible levels, and that's why most systems keep them in place.

Thank you for running our exhaust! Remove the side mufflers and be prepared for drone all of the time. While more expensive, you'd net more power and a better more aggressive sound and retain the factory valve functionality by upgrading your headers - if you're able to.

It’s interesting the different approaches taken by Carrera vs GT3 crowd considering they are both 3.8/4L flat 6 engines.

GT3 most guys remove side mufflers and keep center muffler

Carreras it seems people keep the side mufflers and delete the center muffler

I have been curious what a 3.8 Carrera would sound like with a GT3 muffler and the side muffler by passes modified to bolt up to Carrera 3 bolt flange headers.... That's my plan if I ever come across a cheap GT3 bumper.
