Anyone has the correct measurement to install Carrera GTS emblem?
Sorry. I posted this question in the wrong 911 platform. This should be asked under Porsche 997 forum.

I know this doesn't help now but I would have made some templates using blue masking tape before removing emblems.
I have tried to install just the PORSCHE emblem and it was a nightmare. Have decided to wait and just have the dealer install using current templates because it would bother me to no end if it wasn't perfect

Suncoast has a template for a couple hundred. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU991ETGTS.html, but then you need a holder for $550(!). https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU991EHOLD.html. And they are NOT returnable.
I can't believe what they charge for these. There are various YouTube how-to's for rebadging, but I've done this on previous cars and it NEVER looks right without the template.
I'm wondering, if enough folks were interested, I'd be wiling to buy the thing and then ship it out on a rental/rota basis. You would need to 'secure' with a deposit via PayPal/Venmo etc. and then I would refund it minus a nominal rental cost when I get it back. I could then keep it for others to rent. The 'rental' cost would cover shipping, time and trouble and I wouldn't be in it to get rich - just to give forum members a way of getting these templates without paying $700 each time!

My dealer applied my new letters at no charge. Presumably because they don't want people driving around town with the letters looking all janky and that would not serve the Porsche brand well. That or maybe because I just dropped close to a grand to change my sparkplugs. If you live reasonably close to a dealership, I'd just pop in and ask.

Use some masking tape and just lay out a general area of where it should be. I did mine without a template and it came out fine.
