Default PPF under rear bumper behind wheels

So now that I will need to have some PPF repair done due to the dealer, I noticed yesterday while changing my oil that the flat area of the rear bumper behind the rear wheels is getting killed with road rash, my gosh I only have 4237 miles on it, Well my PPF stops right before the flat area. So, thinking, have detailers color sand an polish the area, use dr. Color chip then PPF? Of just ignore it as you can’t see it unless you lay on the ground. I could always respray later and add PPF. Wish I would have thought about this area when I had PPF done.

I have a call into him to see what he suggests, I don’t think there was a template to do just that area with doing the entire rear bumper. We shall see

I’d likely touch up any larger chips, but my guess is It’s more peppering and less large chips. I’d probably cover with PPF to prevent it from getting any worse.

Xpel has a cutout. It covers the area of concern and goes halfway up the car (like above your rear wheel)
