Hey guys, those of you with icarsoft can you do me a favor? Next time you scan your car can you go into the DME and check to see what your misfire counters are? M210-260 and M310-360? I’m just hoping to get an idea of what’s normal (I understand 0 for all values is probably correct but I’m interested in real world numbers).

If I recall correctly, mine are non-zero, but my roughness numbers are zero or near-zero. Nothing alarming. I can check tomorrow for actual numbers.

 

You piqued my interest, so I just did mine. M210 showed 0 for each cylinder. M310 showed 1,5,1,2,6,4 for cylinders 1 through 6 respectively. No idea what's normal. I have replaced my plugs and coil packs within the last year/3,000 miles, and I think my engine runs pretty sweet.

It's normal to register single digits. When I had actual issues (coil going bad) it registered 38 and the car had a loss of power and flagged up warnings on the MFD.
