Failing water pumps are more related to the 991.2 models. Your may be due to faulty change over valves (covs) or air in the system if you have had coolant work done on the car in the past.

Just went for a spirited drive and had the same issue. Parked on the side, let it cool drove home no problem. Took to my shop that told me that's 99% an air bubble in the system after having add a third radiator. Get your system flushed.

Update: replaced coolant expansion tank (ie. the WG42 service bulletin mentioned)
No warning after a 50min drive. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Does anyone know if WG42 (replace coolant reservoir - factory recall campaign) is equivalent to this document : https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...19329-9999.pdf
I cannot understand if the coolant reservoir has quality issues and therefore is replaced by a new one with same part number OR if the coolant reservoir has an improved design with a different part number?
