I’ll bring this thread up to speed for those still wondering. I’m currently trying to smog my 2013 but not everything is set. After reading this it sounds like I may have to take it in? Damn! I purchased my car in PA, drove it to North Carolina and then to Jacksonville, Fla. and would have thought they’d be reset after all that driving but no dice! When I went to the CA DMV to register the car they wanted to know how the car got into the state and when it was first driven in the state. They also need a current smog cert. 😐 and VIN verification (they do it at the DMV).

used to have to take vehicle to CHP, had to make appt..took 2 weeks
