2014 Bonnet (Trunk) Release Weirdness
Hi:
I have three 911's ...a 2011 911 Turbo S coupe and a 2014 Carrera S Coupe and 2014 911 Cabriolet Turbo S car....
BOTH the 2014 cars have a strange behavior pattern.......
When I wash them...or wipe them down.... any water or wiping with a damp cloth anywhere near the front emblem...above or below the panel line and the (Bonnet) trunk latch releases...
Anyone have this experience???

At least for the 991.2 (and I suspect for the 991.1) this is an expected issue.
The sensor is just to the left/below of the emblem and with the key in your pocket will pop the frunk.
I keep the key in the house when washing the car to avoid this issue.
