2013 Carrera S dyno and Custom tune yesterday
On a mustang dyno we ended with 328 wheel torque and 385 wheel horsepower. Car definitely feels livelier.
Modifications: Short shifter;SPASM spoiler; BMC filters; 3-piece forged wheels; Eibach pro-kit springs; Soul Performance long tube street headers + PSE; DSC suspension controller; IPD Plenum; Cobb Accessport with custom dyno tune; NM Automotive Porsche CarPlay with front and rear cameras

I can’t stop looking at those wheels! What are they?

They are Interads. I don’t think the company is still in existence and worry if a single wheel has a chance encounter with a deep pothole. I them made back at end oF 12’ and had Porsche 356 hood emblems embedded in the center caps. The hood emblems had the same shape and size of the Interad logo.

Thanks for reply….if they were still around they’d be at top of my list!

So at a 13 % loss
Would it be safe to say you gained 37 hp with your mods ? 400 x .13 = 52 348 385 - 348 = 37hp. This is of course if factory rated HP is correct. Has anyone dyno'd a stock .1 ?

They're anecdotal at best.
But let's not forget that I'm DEFINITELY AN EXPERT because I have a moderately respectable post count on Rennlist.

Dynos aren't really that scientific of a measurement unless you're using the exact same dyno; and even then the conditions of the ambient air matter.
They're anecdotal at best.

Well I am definitely NOT an expert not due to post count, but just because I’m not an expert. I just wanted to join and share my results with the group since most of my modification choices were taken from the group’s experiences which they graciously posted.

I was just pointing out something that may be less obvious to some folks, that's all. And also being a bit facetious because I think I'm funny.
That said it would have been nice to get a before and after on the same dyno to get a pretty empirical view of what difference the mods made. But it is an interesting post, welcome to Rennlist!

No matter what - there will always be some kind of math to calculate the BHP and then some spreadsheet analysis to break that down further to get the hp +/- of each individual mod. Typically this is done by people that have never used a dyno but have read something somewhere online. This thread has gone a pretty long time without some comment like my XYZ car with turbos made a Bajilion more hp with an eBay tune or something like that so consider that a compliment to your thread.
One of the things the dyno doesn't show is just how much improved the mid and low mid range become with headers and a good tune on these cars. I bet you smile ear to ear every time you drive it!
