Default .2 steering wheel problem

its adjust in/out ok but its in a LOW position and wont go up....it will go down about 1/2 " but not up at all...i cant see the gauges as the top of wheel blocks them and it is really akward.
ive fiddled with the switch, different pressures, different fingers, key is on, Ive reset the memory buttons..nothing works.

Am i doing something wrong,,,YES i read the manual and watched Youtube also..

Have you confirmed the switch works on up at any position? If you go down that 1/2 inch, can it go back up that 1/2 inch again?

I read where you can do a reset on the memory function by running the drivers seat all the way from back to front. I know it’s a long shot and doesn’t sound like a memory problem but might be worth a try.

to elaborate on this

the seats and windows lose their calibrations when power is lost. so if you pull the battery, the one-touch up/down of the windows won't work, and I believe seat memory won't work, until you actuate the windows fully and actuate the seat all the way back respectively.

I am glad it worked. If you think the memory reset is not intuitive you should see the PDK reset.....turn off the A/C and run engine for 3 minutes, turn on A/C and run for 3 minutes, turn off engine, remove key, lock car, wait 1 minute, restart car, wave a dead chicken over your head and your PDK is reset to factory default.lol. I wonder who thinks this up.

IIRC you cancel a destination as well as control the Navi volume in settings on the MFD display with the control stick on the steering column.
