Black PORSCHE only or complete delete.

 

I have to agree that complete delete looks very nice too. It is how my car is currently sitting as I just completed the removal of the original badge. But as nice as it looks, it feels just a little bit empty.

 

Do you like the chrome window trim? If yes then silver Porsche only. If not then satin black Porsche only like the first picture. Great reviews for SEM black trim spray paint.

The chrome lettering (Porsche, Carrera C4S) matches the center chrome exhaust tips on my 911. The car is Carrara white so the contrast between the body color and the lettering is more subtle. Mine is fine the way it is.

Now, if you were to do black lettering and black exhaust tips, that would look fine, IMHO.

Decisions, decisions.

 

Personally, I feel the back is too cluttered. I’d go with 911 or 911S only.

Yes, I will be doing the exhaust tips next. Ceramic coat black or replace them with already black ones. I'm also going to tint the tail lights a bit (not too much but similar to the OEM tinted tail lights).

 

IMO ... Everybody knows it's a Porsche, and everybody who knows it's a Porsche know it's a 911. There is no mistake.

Porsche = Matte black only. Simplifies understated elegance. Like the 911R, no need for more badges, you know what you're looking at, if you know, you know.
Porsche 911 = Geez, I thought this was a Cayman or Macan? Silly.
Porsche 911 Carrera S = Starting to get ridiculous, you really need everybody to know which model you bought? It's like Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS (They really made use of the space to announce something moot).

You don't see Porsche going wild on the GT models. Porsche 911 Carrera GT3 RS, because you already know it's not normal. Debadge entirely, yeah definitely missing something.

Exactly my thought! I HATE excessive badging! (i.e Subaru). Not classy at all.

 

I prefer the black. Understated elegance.

 

I feel your pain for "wordy" rear lettering!
