Hey all - first time Porsche 911 owner, and went with a 991.2. Loving the Graphite Blue, Turbos, rear grip, quality, etc. Can’t believe it’s taken me over 20 years to finally buy one, but now I see more in my future.

Anyway, last car was a C7 Corvette Stingray that also has a strong following and community. Didn’t realize Porsche owners do what Corvette owners do when parking (nothing bad mind you).




That row I am in was completely empty when I started a movie. Finished the movie to see this sweet 718 Boxster next to me as well as yellow 992 Carrera S 3 spots down (couldn’t get in the picture).

Is this something I can expect from fellow Porsche owners? If so then I am going to love seeing the different combinations out there!

haha awesome! yea - i definitely try and park next to other p-cars when I get the chance.

anyone else notice how attractive the end-spot is or spot next to a pole (parking garage) so there's only less chance of getting the dreaded door d*ng

Oh I just left it up. Didn't think to close it as it's set that way for my 'Individual' setup.

It was like 2pm in the afternoon when I went to watch a movie! It was way empty, but I come up and suddenly like 3 more rows filled up.

I like parking away from others, but not so far away that I stand out (if that makes sense). Next time I'll do that and see if any other P-cars follow suit!

Moonroof too? What's the story with that? I leave mine popped all the time while parked.

Also, I have to say I agree with others about the parking 🤣. If only not just to have taken the space next to the curb. You're wide open to 2 door dings!

I'll never forget the time I was with a friend and she was making fun of me for telling her to park in a better spot. It must have been a new car for her or I wouldn't have given a crap otherwise. Well, she basically said "whatever" and went into the store to grab something really quick. While I waited in the car for her, someone pulls up next to her and opens their door into her car. I told her so!! 😁

She's a beauty Snowkone! Haven't heard anything about the moonroof, but parking with the spoiler up (or even driving around with it activated using the button) is a telltale (pun intended) sign of a newbie. I actually smile when I see it because I know there is another HAPPY and PROUD new owner of the finest sports car ever made. Enjoy, my friend!

Thanks and definitely taking notes! Thought it looks good with the tail out, sun roof up, and the front active aero always working. Will be more discrete so I don’t stand out so much as a noobie lol!

I’ve had fast cars, but nothing like this 991.2. So glad I picked this over a 2018 Nissan GT-R. Think I would have kicked myself had I not gone Porsche. Now I don’t know how I can get anything else in the future!

GT-R is no question a seriously badass car... but you made the right decision IMO!
