Would like some input on these 2 very important questions
Im talking about 991.1
1st- Guards red exterior with beige interior- While its not a bad contrast to me black is way superior and
most of the cars with beige seem to take longer to sell.
2nd- Yellow exterior- I actually really like racing yellow on the car but I worry about selling it.
i know I know, Buy what you like but every time I buy another Porsche I say its going to be my last.
Its Not- Have had 4 red and 1 Gray so far...
Just curious if these issues haunt any of you.
Ultimately, there's always going to be people that want one color over another when you're selling. I buy cars based on condition, whichever one is in better condition is the one I'd go with. I prefer red exterior over yellow, but prefer black interior. If the red car had black dash and beige seats, then I'd be fine with it. I can't imagine when you're selling one color over the other is going to be a huge loss in value.
Red is the best color for all sport cars. Guard red is the best red you can buy. 😜
then beige with black is the classiest combo you want because it just incredible in person.
here is the perfect example 😂
In the end buy the buyer, then condition and maintenance history.
She’s a beauty,
couldn’t agree more- Red is the best.
I usually like all black interior but the beige is a nice contrast.
With my previous Porsches I always wanted a Dealer certified but it’s been the seller of those cars that made the difference.
Only one of my cars was purchased from a dealer and so far no regrets.

You havent purchased the car, but already are worried about resale? Then do your research and buy interior and exterior color than you dont want just so you can sell it quicker. Duh.
Jack your the Man, never would of thought of that.
Have another beer and try to expand your vocabulary.
‘Just looking for some insightful commentary without idiots like you.
Stop the Steal Jack
Ha! Great post LexVan. Not sure Jack meant it as you took it, katzen. Sounded like a bit of humor to me.
Back to the original post... ALWAYS loved Guards Red and agree it is the best red you can get, period. But red and sports car are too synonymous for me... too predictable. So I went with black exterior (2nd most predictable perhaps?) with black and tan interior. It is my preference for sure, although keeping it clean is a bit of a pain. If I ever upgrade... I may have to go with the Miami Blue or Chalk. LOVE those colors!

It is a beautiful combo. Never liked the beige dash and steering wheel set-up, but with those items in black, it just pops! Especially on a black car...
