Sure thing! I'll pull the car out of the garage in a bit and get some photos for you

Thanks!

Thanks, I don’t feel so alone anymore. Fully agree that the phone clutters the dash and once connected to CarPlay it is kind of useless anyhow.

I did order a wireless adapter on Amazon. Now for short rides I am all set. For longer trips when Waze drains my battery I will charge it in the glove box and forget it there 🤣

I always connect my phone while in the car. And Waze is always on, in town or on the highway. So it better be charging.
In my 750i, I had a magnetic phone holder attached to an air vent. When the heater was on, the phone would fall off the holder. That was a pain. It would fall to the driver's side floor. The I'd have to feel around to find it, not taking my eyes off the road.
Not the best solution!

So, I think Wireless CarPlay is the way to go for you.

I love my T Design phone holder (clip one, no magnets), however, I've found it in my passenger seat on several occasions after some good accelerations. I really don't want to use tape behind it to keep it in place.

Any suggestions??

I do the exact same thing! I don't want the phone visible since it's completely connected via Apple Carplay, so why would I want it out sitting on the dash.
I love putting in the console and from time to time I do forget it in the console. For me, not a big deal, I just go out to the garage and get it. When going somewhere, I haven't forgotten it yet when I get out of the car. It's more natural to look for my phone I guess.
As time goes on, I would think it'll get easier to remember and become more natural.

The Wirelss CarPlay adapter has a USB In the top so you can also still plug in the phone to charge it. See the photo above. Enjoy!

I never forget my phone. Goes right here when I am not using it for sandwich storage 🤪

Carlin Kit adapter for $99 from Amazon works great. Out of the box my Pandora acted funny and phone connection dropped in/out. Pulled over and updated the firmware. After 5min of updating it works now like a charm. Very 😃 thanks for all your thought and tips. Great community.
