I am trying to find photos of silver Carrera Sport wheels on a Black 991. I am considering getting my Carrera Sport wheels refinished in platinum or silver. I have never been a black wheel fan completely, and I think the contrast of silver or platinum wheels on Black vehicles works for me vs. a black on black. I have never seen a Black 991 specd with silver Carrera Sport wheels though...

Is this what you're looking for? This was one of the cars I was considering buying back in March 2018. Ended up with another black 991.2. I liked these wheels with the black body, but wanted some other options not on this car.

Those are great photos, thank you. Yes, I have only found a couple examples so these are great. I think this is platinum, so still hoping to see the base Carrera Sport Wheels as well (which are two tone silver and platinum).

I am thinking of getting rid of the black on mine, and likely doing silver like my winter wheels vs. the platinum of these posted photos. Difficult to envision but these help a lot. My concern was if you do one colour, and not two tone like mine, that the blades look too wide. But based on these photos on a black car I think it works.

Fwiw, I'd probably buy a new set from Porsche and list yours. Few wheel refinishers can match the quality of first paint on wheels, though a very few can exceed it…at a price.

Your wheels were an expensive upgrade over an upgrade, and I am not sure they're available after the fact. Might be valuable to someone with a wide 991.2.
