SoCal Porsche owners: who do you recommend for paint work?
Bought a 991.2 a couple of months ago. Love my Porsche!! I've noticed it has a bunch of small stone chips in the hood, and a good dusting of super fine stone chipping in front of the rear wheels. I'm looking for recommendations of who you would use to clean the paintwork up on my baby up a bit, tidy up the chipping.
thanks in advance!

I had the rear bumper replaced last year by DC Autocraft in Burbank. The work was pristine.

its not south bay area, but i know a paint guy in downey who's an absolute perfectionist and does top notch quality body/paint work. He's been doing a lot of S2000's recently, but he's done all types of vehicles from classics to european. quickest way to reach him is on instagram @ulysses_painting_and_restoring and let him know eddie with the nsx/911 referred you. he'll take care of the car.

If its.. correction, ESPECIALLY if its a late model Porsche, go to the official https://www.porschecollisioncenter.com/ website and enter your zip code. Then check the yelp/google reviews of those shops. Many of the parts and information needed to fix late model cars are only available to certified (technically called PACC'S) shops. Back in 2013, with the 991's, things really changed in collision repair. If you want an example, check out this article... https://rennlist.com/forums/991/7603...r-job-huh.html
And if anyones reading this outside of LA, and you need help narrowing your choices, or you may be in a rural area with only 1 choice, feel free to hit me up. I'll likely know the shops, and can make a shop to shop introduction.
For those looking for shops for their 964's, 930's, etc... there are LOTS of well qualified shops out there. I think the key is finding someone close to you, and having a conversation with them where you express your expectations, before getting a quote. Let their quote reflect exactly what you want, and what you don't want.
