Default Painted Exhaust Tips

Just got a smoking deal on ceramic painted exhaust tips - $40 plus tax. I dont understand how they were only $20 each but they were and it's ceramic and the place has great reviews. Performance Coatings in Auburn, WA. Three year warranty against any cracks or chips - almost seems too good to be true. Seemed like it was worth the risk versus spending $400 on SOUL tips (or $800 on OEM).

Wow, they look great. Is the finish Glacier black or Satin black?

Thanks! I thought about painting the tips myself but for that price it’s a no-brainer.

I think that makes sense. I paid $80 Canadian to ceramic powder coat my 4 exhaust tips for my 991.1 PSE setup. I think a lot of shops tend to overcharge for this as they know folks will pay it.

Did the same in gloss black. Same price in San Diego. Nice little upgrade and was shocked at how cheap it was.

There are many shops that will ceramic coat tips for about that much; however, if you buy from Soul you are getting the tips as well - I got the slash cut double wall tips. But if someone likes the look of their OEM tips getting them coated is a better idea than buying new ones, especially from Porsche!

I live in South FL and am having a difficult time finding a ceramic paint/coat business. Everything that turns up on Google is either a detail shop that does ceramic coatings on vehicles or some pottery place where you paint ceramic crafts.

Found a place here in S. FL that says they'll do it for $45 per tip. Hoping it comes out as good as the OP's. Fingers crossed!!!
