Badging for a mod ...
Yeah, yeah, I know everybody likes to delete the labels/badges/model designations on their cars 'n stuff. Me, I kinda like them. Currently I have "911 Carrera S" on the bottom of the doors - car came like that, I didn't add them. On the rear, I just have "911" in black.
I'm currently getting the APR 3.0T GTS Stage 3 upgrade installed, and am entertaining the notion of adding *something* on the rear. Here's where y'all come in. WWYD? What designation could you think of that would be appropriate, moderately discreet, and be something I could add to the back. Follow on question - anybody know of a place that makes custom lettering in whatever script Porsche uses for things like "Carrera" on the back of the car? Note that I'm not asking *if* I should do it or not - that's entirely up to me - I'm more curious as to what anyone can think of that may be appropriate for adding. This is partly idle thinking, partly thinking of how to give a very subtle indication that all is not normal inside the engine.

I believe APR has their badges that you could add. Anyone that knows the industry would know that badge for sure.
As you said, this is up to you - it's your car and not mine. Do what you want to do and enjoy!

Back in the day when I did add mod stickers, I would put a small one in the rear window, down low and only one side or rear window, again, small and down low.
I wouldn't ever add anything to the bumpers or paint. But that's just me.

Personally? I'd never install graphics or badges indicating anything of value to the car. At best it invites unwanted attention from would-be thieves or law enforcement, at worst it comes off as some kind of petty flex (see: "My other car is a _____!" -- no one cares).
Meme-y things are a totally different story. Used to have a huge vinyl of Ron (from the "lemme smash" video) on my XA10 RAV4, for example. Should do that to my 911, hmm..

Anything visually APR on the car is just cringe, to me. A Porsche script letter color change from say an S to a red S or something like that is still bad but would be somewhat okay I suppose.
It's a lot cooler to be running the mods with an all stock look, I think. But try anything you want. Like you said, it's your car. You should be able to get Porsche script letters from Suncoast or other Porsche parts department.

In theory, you could order the name plates for a Carrera and Spyder and cut the 'a', 'p', and 'r' characters out to make a badge. Is this blasphemous? Maybe. Could've also done it with capital letters if not for the 'A'.
