Default Lower latch recall

Dealer service advisor informed me that there is a recall on a lower latch for the frunk. He did not know the specifics. Car is a 19 C4GTS. Putting this out there. Hopefully not a C8 hood pooping open issue.

Did not come up on https://recall.porsche.com/prod/pag/...f/VIN?ReadForm.

Hood pooping is the scourge of the modern performance car.

I received an email but no letter. Late build 2019 C4 cab. I need them to reset my inspection warning anyhow. Next nice day for a 3 hour drive.

I left without the final dealer paperwork but the foreman said it was a micro switch that was replaced.

sounds like something that can cause an issue in another recent thread about the locking chirp not.. chirping. :O

edit -- oh, that was your thread, and you already had put that together. Don't mind me.

What I find interesting is that although I get intermittent lack of chirping when locking, I NEVER get indication that the frunk is open.

Will be interesting to see if the chirping always double chirps. Service advisor thought I might be pressing the indentation on the door handle twice. I don’t this so but we shall see.
