2013 991 Carrera - Hydraulic Valve Issues
Anyone have any issues with these pertaining to engine shutting off or running rough?
Looking through an old service history and this issue came up -- removal/reinstall of these valves for the valve lift adjustment and the camshaft controller looks like it fixed it.
I have never heard of this issue.

They're commonly referred to as "changeover" valves for whatever reason, and the 991s had a lot of them. If you do a search on that term, you'll come up with a ton of hits. Many of them were replaced under recall.
