Default ALCANTARA WHEEL?

I just purchased a 991s and looking to all a suede steering wheel to my current sport design wheel. Is there a company that wraps stock wheels? i dont feel like paying $1500 at suncoast for a whole new wheel.

I've sold my stock Alcantara GT steering wheel and installed brand new leather GT steering wheel. As much as I love Alcantara feel on my hands, I always get worried about getting sweat/oil onto steering wheel (I was finding myself keep cleaning it every 1-2 weeks). So something to think about.

Have no experience with either but two popular companies I’ve heard of are Dallas Customs and also Exclusive Option.

I was worried about the alcantara wheel. It does take some upkeep, I clean mine once every other month or so and feels as good as new.

Have you tried or thought about wrapping your own? I ordered some fabric and will be doing mine. I've done a few wheels before but its really not that hard.

Exclusive Option pieces have been shown here before. The stitching is not even and they produce parts that are not consistent with Porsche OEM pieces like the center channel/sport chrono piece.

I just got a brand new 991.2 alcantara with yellow stitching from eBay for $800. It's the bare wheel, so everything will have to be moved over from my original wheel, but I don't think this is a bad deal at all.
To your point, $1500 is just too much.
