Default New Continental tires all season (DWS06+)

Saw this on TR in the 20 inch sizes for the 991.2. Reasonably priced too. About $ 1064.00 per set of 4 tires. Anyone try them yet?

EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS

Are you sure that tire comes in the right size for your car?

Good to have options. 560 AA A seems to be a good rating.

These tires were great on the Audis when they came OEM. This is something to consider, I know I am when the time comes.

UTQG of 560 seems a little too hard for me, especially in the winter.

DWS worked fantastic for me..... on my E-class wagon. I would never run them on my 991.2

one thing I do not like about DW or DWS is side walls are kinda rounded and make it looks like a truck. Try to find installed pictures somewhere. You will see what I mean.

I had them on my Audi. Good compromise tire for a sedan. Not the best dry grip. Decent in snow. The tread pattern is fugly and would look terrible on a Porsche sports car.

Agreed. Had them on my cayenne. Quiet when new with decent grip, but quickly became noisy with a little treadwear. Also, tread pattern even more noticeable on 21" size on cayenne, never cared for them.

they used to be top of the line when they originally came out. i had them on my MB S550 RWD there are better tires out there these days.
They were noisy on my wifes CLS500 (smaller sidewalls than on S class)

Winter tires are 295 on the back, not 305. At least this is Porsche spec. In my country complying with manufacturer specs is mandatory if you want to pass the technical inspection or if you dont want to get your registration papers retained by cops until you comply.

These contis are supposed to be new according to TR. Not the old DWS 06.

Those Yoko are summer, the Conti all season are more like a winter tire, so the Yoko should be totally different.

Myself I am running now Hankook winter tires, I cant compare them with something similar but I am very happy with them, and I drive them really hard whenever I get the chance.
