My Mercedes Benz owners manual has a caution about “touchless carwash’s”. It says that strong and harmful chemicals are used.

Does it go on to say only use MB approved chemicals available at your friendly dealership??

Funny, no it does not but the dealership has a wash bay that uses brushes. This is available to me free anytime I want to use it without an appointment. I tip the kid $5.00 when he brings the car back. Does a fine job and I have to believe that the brushes are soft and leave no swirl marks that I can see.

I’ve hand washed my cars for over a half century. Machine wash never do a good enough job.

I like using those car washes with the giant rollers and rubber pom poms that just slap my car silly
