Default Alcantara in a convertible?

Does anybody have Alcantara seats in their convertible?

My back sweats like a ***** in church when I'm sitting in leather seats in the summer, wondering how the GTS seats are in a convertible without seat ventilation?

I hate having a sweaty back when driving, not sure why it's such a problem for me. It makes seat ventilation a more important feature than color, pdk/manual, S/GTS etc..........

I have it in a convertible which of course means no seat ventilation available. I also leave the top down almost everywhere I go year round so it does get sun exposure from time to time

That said, I am not too far from the beach in SoCal so 85 is a hot day for us and it is very dry when it gets that hot so less of a sweat factor. it is definitely cooler to the touch than leather, but it can still get pretty warm.

991.2 GTS CAB with Alcantara in south FL and roof down any time it doesn’t rain. It can get hot if I’m standing in traffic, noon time and sun, but if you are moving it was never a problem for me.
Windows down circulation is better then the ventilation. That said, each person has a diff sweat conditions.
All in all I’d say not an issue at all.

I had 18-ways with the GTS interior package in my Boxster. I never noticed my back sweating more than anywhere else on a hot, humid day, which was pretty much every day from June through August. I'd have to say it's better than leather. I wouldn't consider cooled seats a "must-have" although some people swear by them.
