2013 991 Cab 87k miles. I’m getting a significant rattle from either the roof or trim at the back of the car, hard to tell where it’s really coming from. Not the usual squeaks and rattles I’ve had from the roof. Also seem to be getting significant wind noise that seems to be coming from the rear of the car. Any suggestions pls?

Tech found the problem Yeah!!!!

Part of the hifi had become loose behind the rear passenger trim and that was what causing the rattle, bliss!!!!

When was the last time the top was serviced or lubricated?

Probably never, are you meant to service the top, vs the regular services the car gets?

Not sure when Porsche recommends it or if it's part of a service but yes, you are supposed to lubricate parts of the mechanism and the seals. There are some guides on here if you search.

Not saying that's it for sure but you never know.
