Default Gauge rings

I’ve searched rennlist. Can’t seem to find any threads on gauge rings for 991.

there are some for 997 and older.

I found some options on Amazon and ebay but no reviews.

anyone have experience with aftermarket gauge rings. I’d like to add a little color to panel.

thanks

Near as I can tell the only option are tacky afterthought stick-on gauge rings, such as those found at suncoast, which have a clear disclaimer that if you're looking for perfection that they may not be for you.

The parts catalogue seems to agree that it's a one-piece cluster.

To "do it right" I think you'd need to swap out the entire cluster housing or modify your existing one, but clearly I'm too lazy to walk to my garage to have a look in person to see, so if someone wants to confirm/deny this...

The front half, with 5 gauge faces is one piece. You can see the parting line (where the stirrup clips are) in the picture above. There are about 8 T20 screws from the back. You could take it apart and paint the housing??

Are you looking for something like these? Not a very clear pic but you get the idea.

eBay ones are (unsurprisingly) very poor quality, in case you were wondering.....

Yes. I have the silver trim in the car. And around the chrono there is a matching silver trim from factory.
gauges don’t have that. Just black.

I was thinking putting a little silver around the gauges could be a good accent.

not looking to work too hard to accomplish this.

I have found that for 997 you can essentially buy kits on amazon. Looks like double sided tape or maybe some elmers glue.

obviously I don’t want anything to be tacky. But just exploring options right now

thanks
