note, modern engines should not be idled for long period as the engine management will increase fuel to get cats hot which can result in washed cylinders.

I had a similar issue with my 2017. Turns out there was a service bulletin having to do with a fuel line or connector. When I took it in for service the smell was so bad they were afraid to start it up fearing an engine fire, so they pushed it into the service bay.
