NPD - My 991.1 C4S
Upcoming 50th birthday, and I had extreme spousal support (even prodding) to buy my first Porsche since 2005 and the 911 I've always wanted.
My search ended a few weeks ago when I found this blue 991.1 at an Audi dealer in St. Louis. It's a 2016 C4S, had 26K miles, and they had it listed at $86K, which felt a little low. I found a mechanic to do a PPI by asking here, and it came back pretty clean - one rear shock oddly leaking, which sets me up to replace both the rears. Not cheap but still kept me ahead of the market for 2016s right now, so I took the plunge.
Flew to St. Louis from Denver 3 weeks ago, picked it up, drove it home. 12 hours, split into two pieces.
The paint had been a little neglected by my standards and today was my first chance to remedy that. Here, now that I'm done, is what she looks like.

Garage for now. My fuse is a little wet on the $ end of it, and I have a Tahoe that I can take out whenever the weather isn't nice. Maybe next year.
